What you need to know

The first thing you need to know is: You don't need any drawing experience! I draw Schiedam is suitable for all drawing levels. I will help you. I will give advice and show easy and somewhat more difficult options.

What we will do

In Schiedam lopen we ongeveer 2,5 kilometer. We passeren verschillende mooie plekjes om je eigen grote ‘Groetjes-uit-Schiedam-ansichtkaart’ te tekenen.

Ontdek de stad op een andere manier. Niet alleen rondslenteren, maar even zitten (of staan) om te tekenen wat je ziet. Een relaxte ervaring in een mooie stad.

Where the experience takes place

We bezoeken diverse plekken in het centrum van Schiedam. Er is plek om te zitten en veel moois om te tekenen.

Starting point I draw Schiedam

We starten bij het Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, Hoogstraat 112. Op de rode bankjes voor de hoofdingang.
The starting point is close to Schiedam station and also close to the parking garage "De Nieuwe Passage".
You can safely leave your bike in front of the museum.

It was nice to explore a part of the city in a special way with a group. No long stories that you have forgotten by the next day. But by drawing in certain places, you look better and it stays longer in your memory. Jeffrey had prepared the afternoon well and gave good directions. I already knew Schiedam, but not in this way! We really had a lot of fun drawing. And thanks to Jeffrey’s explanation we could be proud of the end result.
