Jeffrey, City Illustrator of Rotterdam, works as visual artist, illustrator, city guide and art educator in Rotterdam. His detailed and cheerful drawings can be found in private and corporate collections and various Rotterdam stores and art galleries.

“With my Rotterdam drawings, drawing tours and workshops I want to make people happier (even if only for a short while), inspiring them and connecting them with their environment, each other and their own creativity.

My work is more than just drawings; it is a collection of personal stories and memories that bring joy and connection.”

What can I do for you?

As an artist, illustrator, city guide and art teacher, I help bring stories to life. Whether it's a unique artwork, an illustration for a project, or a creative drawing tour of Rotterdam, I love to work together to make your idea visual.

Artist and illustrator

As an artist, I capture the dynamics of Rotterdam in colorful cityscapes and iconic buildings. My work ranges from custom paintings for individuals and companies to free work such as my Rotterdam birthday calendars.
As an illustrator, I bring stories to life with detailed drawings, digital designs and talking pictures for future visions or events, for example.

• Corporate:
  I worked among others for Gemeente Rotterdam, Maritiem Museum, Uitagenda Rotterdam and Facebook Nederland. From talking boards for city plans to colorful illustrations for events, each project tells a unique story.
• Private:
  Consider personal artwork such as a painting of your business location or a family portrait with a touch of Rotterdam humor.
• Free work:
  My series of paintings ”Greetings from Rotterdam North, -East, -South and -West“ was exhibited at Kunstuitleen Rotterdam.

City guide and art teacher

In addition to drawing, I am also a city guide and art teacher. With drawing tours such as ”I draw Rotterdam“ I let participants discover the city by sketching themselves. I also conduct drawing workshops for children and adults, focusing on creativity and fun.

• Drawing tours:
  Such as customized tours for families, businesses, or cultural events such as Cross Comix Rotterdam.
• Workshops:
  Among other things, at the Maritiem Museum and Het Utrechts Archief I gave workshops that inspired children and adults to capture their stories visually.
